All was going great in Atlanta...and then the phone broke. Denis went running in 500% humidity and I think his phone couldn't take it and died. He really wanted a phone for this trip. Having a cell phone these days means you can call, text, and get directions! Without it in Venice I would probably still be finding my way to the Rialto bridge. I know we will need it in places like Marrakesh too.
The problem is that Google Fi, the cell carrier, only works with certain phones. So, carless and pressed for time (we were leaving that day at 4:30pm), we took public transit and Lyft out to Fry's 22 miles away!
Denis is now with cell phone and all is good in the world.
